Hi-Technology
Intraoral Camera
We utilize several areas of high technology to help us treat our patients. Our intraoral camera can help us by taking high quality photos of the surfaces of teeth. We view these images on the television screens present in each room to help show patients the problems present in that specific tooth. This allows us to examine the tooth in an enlarged image, helping to locate cracks and identify other areas of damage in a tooth.
Digital Imaging
For those who wish to see what they may look like after we perform a cosmetic correction to a tooth or several teeth, we offer cosmetic digital imaging. A digital photo of your smile is downloaded into the computer, and we can alter the color, shape, size and alignment of your teeth so that you can see what you would look like with changes made to your teeth. This can help us communicate with each other as well as the dental laboratory. It can help you visualize the after image that we can create, allowing you to be more a part of the process, so that we create the result that you desire.
Britesmile
For those patients who want their teeth whitened in 1 hour, we offer the Britesmile procedure. In 3, 20 minute sessions, your teeth will become their brightest. The procedure takes about 90 minutes in total (including set up and clean up) and can be accomplished any time you wish. Often patients will come for this procedure during a lunch break from work. The results of this Power whitening are usually dramatic and patient satisfaction is very high.
Direct TV
Since your comfort is a high goal at our office, we offer satellite TVs in each of our treatment rooms. You may select any channel you wish to watch or listen to during your dental treatment to help you feel at ease during your appointment.
Digital X Rays
We are proud to offer our patients the benifits of the latest technology available in the world of digital radiography. By using digital X rays, the amount of radiation used is greatly reduced, and the results can be viwed immediately, thus reducing the length of some appointments. The image quality is outstanding, and we are able to view the enhanced image on the compter to aid in difficult iagnoses. It is also a great way for our patients to be more involved with their treatment decisions, as we can have discussions about treatment needs with both of us seeing the same image on the computer screen.
